CERTIFICATIONS

At Mini Rodini, we work with some of the strictest and most comprehensive certifications available in the textile industry – including GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycle Standard). These certifications cover the entire production process, from raw material to finished product, and include checks on working conditions, chemical use, and quality aspects like color fastness and shrinkage.

100% of the products we produced were either fully certified at product level or made using certified materials. This is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accountability. You can read more in our Sustainability Report.

The GOTS certification is widely recognized as the leading global certification for textiles made from organic fibers – covering not only materials but also the way garments are produced.

At Mini Rodini, almost all of the cotton we use is GOTS certified. To meet the GOTS standard, a material must contain at least 95% organic fibers and comply with strict criteria across environmental, social, chemical, and quality aspects. The certification applies to all stages after harvesting – including yarn production, processing, manufacturing, packaging, and labeling.

We also use GOTS-certified wool, which ensures both high standards of animal welfare and organic farming practices. The GOTS- certification helps us ensure that our materials are produced in a way that’s better for people, animals, and the planet.

The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a globally recognized certification that verifies the presence and amount of organic material in a final product. It also ensures that the organic content has been properly tracked through the supply chain.

OCS-certified cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and typically uses less water than conventional cotton farming. The OCS Blended standard requires a minimum of 5% organic content, which makes it a good alternative for products that combine organic cotton with other fibers – for example, garments that are not made from 100% cotton.

The certification is managed by Textile Exchange, a global non-profit driving sustainability in the textile industry.

All of the recycled polyester used at Mini Rodini is GRS-certified. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international certification that verifies the recycled content in a product and ensures responsible social, environmental, and chemical practices throughout the production process.

GRS applies to a range of materials – including polyester, polyamide, cotton, and wool – and provides full traceability from raw material to finished product. At Mini Rodini, we use GRS for all garments made with recycled polyester and polyamide.

The certification is managed by Textile Exchange, a global non-profit organisation driving sustainability in the textile industry.

At Mini Rodini, we only use wool that is certified, either by RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) or GOTS, to ensure that our wool comes from sources that respect both animal welfare and the environment. RWS certification guarantees that the wool originates from farms where sheep are treated responsibly – with access to pasture, freedom from abuse, and proper veterinary care. It also promotes good land management practices and full traceability throughout the entire wool supply chain.

At Mini Rodini, we aim to ensure that every component of our garments – from fabrics to trims and buttons – meets our high standards for quality and sustainability. We work with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, Class 1 – the strictest category, developed specifically for babies and children. OEKO-TEX® is a globally recognized certification system that guarantees that textile products are free from harmful substances. Every certified item has been independently tested against a comprehensive list of chemicals known to pose health risks.By using OEKO-TEX® certified components, we help ensure that our garments are safe to wear – even for newborns.
