MEMBER OF FAIR WEAR FOUNDATION

Mini Rodini has been a proud member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) since 2016. This partnership helps us uphold high social standards in our supply chain and ensures that everyone involved in making our clothes works under fair and safe conditions.

All our suppliers are required to sign our Code of Conduct, which is aligned with Fair Wear’s Code of Labour Practices. It outlines the fundamental rights and working conditions that must be respected – including fair wages, safe workplaces, reasonable working hours, and the right to unionize.

To monitor compliance, we require regular third-party social audits from trusted independent bodies. When challenges arise, we work closely with suppliers to develop corrective action plans, supporting their progress and strengthening our relationship over time.

This approach not only helps improve individual factories, but also contributes to a more responsible and transparent textile industry. As part of our Fair Wear collaboration, we also participate in a joint living wage project in Türkiye, together with three other FWF member brands – supporting fairer pay for garment workers. LIVING WAGES

At Mini Rodini, we believe that a living wage is a human right – and one of the most critical issues facing the textile industry today. While minimum wages are often set by national governments, they rarely cover a person’s basic needs. That’s why we began working with living wages in 2014 and continue to actively promote fair compensation in our supply chain.

A living wage should be enough to cover essential needs: food, housing, clothing, healthcare, education, and the ability to save. In contrast to minimum wages, living wages ensure not just survival but stability for workers and their families.

We currently have two ongoing living wage projects in Türkiye, where we collaborate directly with our suppliers to pay our share of the wage gap. We also work with trade unions and worker representatives to ensure the increased wages are fairly distributed.

The journey is complex. Wages depend on factors like location, family size, and living costs – and many factories serve multiple brands, making wage-setting a shared responsibility. Still, we remain committed to doing our part and leading by example in the industry.
