The fabric used to make these swim pants is made of 78 % recycled polyamide, which has been manufactured by using mostly residual fishing nets, old carpets, and production waste – making these sustainable swim pants a part of the process that helps clean up the world’s oceans.
The fabric is GRS certified which ensures that they consist of recycled materials made from, for example, PET soda bottles, discarded fishing nets and used clothes. Since we are working with products that are mainly used by children, the control of chemical use is of the utmost importance to us. GRS is the strictest certification for recycled material on the market today and includes rigid controls of especially chemical use and tracking, but also working conditions.
